Intermission
Encore
Just some short thoughts...
INCREDIBLE!!!! The whole wall sequence was better than Berlin, and 1000 times better than KAOS. Uphoria whan he took the stage and hit the first notes on In the Flesh.
Dogs: totally speachless. Totally Blown away.
Definitely lip synced Every Stranger's Eyes. Sorry, but it was just too noticable.
ATD material: Audience for the most part didn't understand it. A lot of "what's this" statements around me. What God Wants was killer. Perfect Sence was absolute highlight. My voice is still horse from screaming along with "Our Global Anthem" I STILL HAVE GOOSE BUMPS. P.P. Arnold was so good I had tears welling up in my eyes.
At then end of the song ATD roger just brought things down to almost silence in the arena and instead of going off stage stood there to speak. He said that he's been doing a lot of interviews saying he wanted to recapture tha magic of the old days "with his former band", and they definitely recaptured the magic tonight. From his behavior and reaction on stage throughout the whole show I saw a man who in a state of shear joy. It was so obvious that he loved what he was doing and really appreciated that the audience loved what he was doing. There was a connection between artist and audience like I've never seen at any other show before.
The Crowd: Some people REALLY SUCKED! A lot of staggering drunk obnoxious assholes wearing TDB and Momentary Lapse shirts. The Irony is that it was mostly the people wearing the surrogate band garb that were the biggest jerks. All of the others were really cool.
But, that's just my opinion.
Go Back.
