I wrote these for an english class I took in college. It has been noted that there are a few factual errors in both, but I've decided to leave them as they were originally submitted.
- Remember A Day
Pink Floyd's current music continues to fall short of their
earlier albums because their attempts at self-imitation lack the
concepts and musical nuances that made their music popular for its
uniqueness.
- Dunroamin, Duncarin, Dunlivin
Roger Waters' albums stay truer to Pink Floyd's original sound and
meaning than the current Pink Floyd because his evaluations of man's
position in today's society provoke reflection while continuing with
the musical innovations that made Pink Floyd popular.

- Pink Floyd: Animals
Lost somewhere in Pink Floyd's long list of landmark albums is 1977’s Animals, which has been called "the forgotten album." Like many Floyd albums, Animals contains a theme that’s clear in concept and vast in execution. It was their response to England’s huge anti-progressive rock punk phenomenon lead by Johnny Rotten of The Sex Pistols.
- Will Roger Waters perform again?
While Waters is still a creative force and his poetic vision will continue, at least for a while, his performing days seem to be over since his vocal abilities are degrading and playing the bass was never his musical raison d'etre. Roger Waters will likely never perform again.
